Yesterday I did a thing. I threw away my food journal. This may seem like a poor choice. Food journals are good. They help us think about the choices we are making. They help us stay accountable. In Which Jenn Ponders Intuitive Eating

Something weird happened while I was on vacation last weekend. I ate whatever I wanted – and I felt better for it. And “whatever I wanted” isn’t code for “I ate whatever kind of salad I wanted” – I really ate whatever the house was preparing that day.
