The Fairest Week In Review: 11/09

HEY! THIS isn’t Walt Disney World! Boo. Sad trombone. Yup, I’m back. It was a whirlwind three days and a great half marathon, and the only thing that kept me from bursting into tears on the Magical Express was the promise of the WDW Marathon in January and the Dark Side Half in April. In Which Jenn Makes A List Of WDW To-Do’s

TOMORROW. Tomorrow morning I land in Orlando and my long weekend in Walt Disney World begins! I’m not sure how well the Wine & Dine Half Marathon can be expected to go, but I haven’t run at ALL this week so hopefully my muscles have bounced back? A bit? Maybe? This year HAD to be...

The Fairest Week In Review: 11/01

Well. The Marine Corps Marathon. It happened. Spoiler alert: I did not make a PR. 🙁 Were, technically. I was wrong. But I tried. It’s like I skipped all the Halloween parties for NOTHING. But hey, neither did I, say, break a bone, and I did finish, so it could certainly have been much worse. I’ll be gathering up my feelings and spewing them all over a blog post later this week; tomorrow, maybe. We’ll see. In the meantime, here’s last week’s taper-down training: Sunday | ran 6.18 miles on the treadmill in 1:05 Monday | walked 2.39 miles outside...
