In Which Jenn Has ALLLLLLLL THE AKL ADRs!!!!

I know Wine & Dine Half weekend is coming up first, but I can’t help but peek ahead just a bit to my next WDW trip – the one in January for the Walt Disney World Marathon. Despite not planning on any park time, I’m super excited to stay at Kidani Village. Only deluxe accommodations for me this time around! Outside the race itself I plan to take time to relax – check out the savanna observation areas, hang by the pool, book a massage and chill in the spa area… and EAT ALL THE FOOD?????? It started with an innocent Sanaa...

The Fairest Trip Report Of All: Lunch at Sanaa

It’s trip report time! You can see all the posts in this report here. Remember when Sanaa was a hidden gem and you could waltz right in? Those were the days. Now word has gotten out about how awesome this restaurant in Kidani Village is, and an ADR is a must. Since my mom raved about our visit there in 2013, I made sure to make a reservation for this trip as well. As you know if you read my trip report, we arrived late and a bit cranky to boot. Thanks to my phone call ahead during the bus debacle...

The trip report concludes (waaah noooo!!) with Jenn’s final round of restaurant reviews. Click here to see all the posts for this trip report.  Our third ADR for the trip was at Sanaa, and it was exactly the hit I knew it was going to be. As I mentioned in the trip report proper: vegetarians, this is your home. My mostly-veggie mom loved this place for its unique meatless options. Heck, she loved that she actually had, y’know, multiple options. So what did we pick? Well, for starters, I insisted on the Indian bread service, because duh, with all...

The Fairest Trip Report of All: 12/06/13

The trip report continues! Click here to see all the posts for this report. As a note: I’m glossing over my food experiences here, but don’t worry – I’ll be doing a full food post or two later on. I was surprisingly merciful after our late night and set the alarm for 7:30 instead of 7AM. My mom hopped in the shower while I brought up Animal Kingdom showtimes on the My Disney Experience app, which was being cooperative. I wanted to catch the bird show and the Nemo musical, but the times were a little at odds. I...

In Which Jenn is the Only Person On Earth with Candlelight Processional Reservations

I’ve mentioned previously that I’m taking my mom to Walt Disney World in December in our first trip together since 1998. Allow me to outline my plan: I organize a trip so amazing that my mom informs my dad that they have been making a mistake all these years, disbelieving my claims that WDW is awesome, and that more trips must be made with all haste. My dad agrees to go to Walt Disney World again in the next year or so. My WDW hotel bill for one trip is reduced to 1/3. Unless we want to get REALLY...
