In Which Jenn Will Be Part Of Your World

My inner Disney Dandy has been thinking about this tank top for a long time. I have this habit of hemming and hawing over purchases. I go to an online store, I fill my cart, I weed out the stuff I’m not as into until I have a good balance of interest to value, and then… often do nothing. I’m a chronic abandoner of carts. This is, probably, mostly, a good thing. Helps me save money. Keeps me from acquiring stuff I don’t need – or, more accurately, acquiring more stuff I don’t need. But occasionally I really regret a...

In Which Jenn Reveals Her Upcoming Race Costumes

I am unlikely to ever be one of those really elaborately costumed runDisney people. Don’t get me wrong – more power to those guys! I am very impressed with your work! But the physical and monetary demands are too much for me to pursue such race costume excellence at this time. In Which Jenn Considers Disney Movies Across Generations

My ballet teacher recently purchased a CD of piano arrangements of Disney songs that we sometimes use for class. It’s such a new recording that it includes a rendition of Frozen‘s “Let It Go.” My teacher tells me that whenever she plays this in her kindergarten-age pre-ballet class, they ALL immediately begin singing the lyrics and complain when she turns it off even though they’re done with the steps. So: I think it is safe to say that Frozen is the seminal Disney movie for current little kids. You know what I mean, right? Sure, you watched lots of...

The Fairest Week in Review: 8/19

Hi guys! Still me for the time being, I’m afraid. Moon’s mom is still having medical issues so I’m holding down the fort. She does tell me she managed to sneak in a 1.25 mile run, so girl is keeping it going. Send good vibes her way! 🙂 Okay, let’s see. My training this week went fine, except for the part where I flew off the treadmill, but really that was fine too. Although now I’m kicking myself for not titling that post “You Can Fly, You Can Fly, You Can Fly Off the Treadmill.” Wasted opportunity! It’s been...
