After the success of my collection of EVERY Walt Disney World resort’s background music loop, I am very pleased to present my holiday version of the very same… er, kind of.
WHY COLLECT BACKGROUND MUSIC?
I dive deeper into my ethos in this post, but a here’s a quick summary for those who might be new. I like to listen to WDW resort music loops as a way of getting into the spirit before a Disney trip. Background music loops are also great company while working, studying, doing chores, etc.
In my opinion, this goes double during the holiday season. Disney is a vibe, Christmas is a vibe – putting them together just makes sense, right?
Except there’s one small problem…
FINDING DISNEY’S HOLIDAY RESORT MUSIC LOOPS IS A CHALLENGE
Finding every WDW resort’s standard background music loop wasn’t too tough. I confess a couple videos were more ambience-driven than true to life, but I successfully dug up some form of background music capture for everyone. When setting out to capture the holiday music loops, I expected something more of the same.
Well. As it turns out, the holiday music loops don’t enjoy nearly the same ubiquity. Out of the 20+ resorts (depending on how you count DVC offshoots, sister resorts, etc.), I was only able to locate SEVEN proper Christmas music loops. If you’re looking for accurate holiday music from Art of Animation, Animal Kingdom Lodge, Grand Floridian, Polynesian Village, Port Orleans, Wilderness Lodge, and Yacht & Beach Club, you’re in luck! Slightly to the left to the brief but still workable is ambient video from Boardwalk Inn. As for the rest, zip. Zilch. Nada.

UPDATE NOV 24, 2025: Got Coronado Springs! Nine, baby!
UPDATE NOV 28, 2025: Caribbean Beach is now included! Ten holidays loops down!
FILLING IN THE HOLIDAY MUSIC GAP
Except that I didn’t feel right leaving the other resorts blank. Instead, I’ve done the next best thing to my eyes: grabbed the closest thing I could find, which is Christmas resort decoration tours. Therefore every resort remains represented in the pantheon… it’s just that some of them are more vloggy than I would’ve liked. They do contain at least a bit of the holiday music at least. And if your goal is to get hype for your upcoming holiday stay, video from the resort in question should help at least a little.
I do hope to remedy the situation, but we’ll get to that in a minute. For now, let’s quit stalling and jump into…

A CHRISTMAS MUSIC WORK IN PROGRESS
Okay, so that wasn’t quite the musical holiday triumph I was aiming for. Yet I have not lost faith! As time progresses, more and more Disney enthusiasts add background music loop videos to the internet. Perhaps the 2025 Christmas season will bring new music loop videos, and I can slowly swap in more accurate content.
