Pongo 101 Dalmatians

101 Dalmatians, One Dalmatian Disneybound

After dipping my toes into my first proper Disneybound a few months ago, I’m back with an all-new 101 Dalmatians-inspired outfit! Guys, 101 Dalmatians was my JAM when I was a little kid. It came out over two decades before I was born, but I didn’t care. Ariel and Belle were great and all, but they couldn’t compete with 101 DOGS. In the immortal words of Karen Cushman: I myself like dogs better. I still remember the thrill when my uncle gave me a Dalmatians-themed sleeping bag for my birthday one year, plus I had the Pongo and Perdita...

In Which Jenn Considers Disney Movies Across Generations

My ballet teacher recently purchased a CD of piano arrangements of Disney songs that we sometimes use for class. Squirtgun To Your Head: Favorite Disney Movie When You Were A Kid?

JENN: Squirtgun To Your Head time! What was your favorite Disney movie when you were a little kid? MOON: How little are we talking? JENN: I’d say… younger than ten. Whatever you watched most often in your single-digit years. MOON: Mary Poppins. WELL Most often? Maybe Bedknobs and Broomsticks. WELL JENN: Oh my… MOON: Okay, going with Mary Poppins. I wanted to be Burt when I was a kid; he always seemed to have interesting jobs. This is also Ruffian’s favorite. In fact, I’m not sure why I don’t have his instrumental outfit. I’m not sure why I don’t...
