I only have one day in Epcot for this year’s Flower & Garden Festival, so you know what would make the most sense? Dialing it back a little. Making modest plans. Assembling a to-eat list that’s a bit more restrained, a bit more curated. Yeah. That would be good.
It would be good, but I’m not doing it – full speed ahead, kids; it’s time to put together a Flower & Garden to-eat list as if I had all the time in the world! Does the food/drink description speak to me? It’s going on the list!!!
Let’s see if your tastes align with mine, shall we?
MY 2023 EPCOT FLOWER & GARDEN FESTIVAL TO-EAT LIST
[ Booth | Item | Notes ]
Farmers Feast | Char-grilled Bison Ribeye with creamy leek fondue, red wine butter sauce, and whipped red wine goat cheese | I had this last year and liked it so much I’m in for it again if space allows!
Farmers Feast | Spice Cake with cream cheese icing and candied pecans and parsnip | Cream cheese icing, you say?
Summer Solstice | Sweet Corn Crème Brûlée with corn biscotti | As a fan of corn pudding, I am intrigued.
BRUNCHCOT | Lox Benedict on Everything Focaccia with everything-spiced cream cheese, shallots, crispy capers, and hollandaise | I’m not sure about the Benedict part, but I’ll try just about anything with lox on it.
BRUNCHCOT | Fried Cinnamon Roll Bites with cream cheese frosting and candied bacon | Another slam dunk from last year that makes the cut again!
The Citrus Blossom | Parish Brewing Co. Drive Thru: Orange Octane Imperial Sour | I’m always down for a sour.
Florida Fresh | Grilled Street Corn on the Cob with savory garlic spread and spicy corn chips | I’m hoping for MAXIMUM GARLIC.
Florida Fresh | Cucumber Watermelon Slushy with gin | Watermelon AND cucumber??? Special for me???
Refreshment Outpost | Lavender Martini: Boyd & Blair Potato Vodka with Lavender and Lemon | I hear bad things but I can’t resist anything floral. I must judge for myself.
Bauernmarket | Toasted Pretzel Bread topped with black forest ham and melted gruyère cheese | PRETZEL BREAD! PRETZEL BREAD!
Magnolia Terrace | Spicy Chicken Gumbo with Andouille sausage and BEN’S ORIGINAL Long Grain & Wild Rice | Gumbo might be a little heavy for the weather and/or time constraints, but I gotta slap it on the list anyway. Who doesn’t love gumbo?
Magnolia Terrace | Bananas Foster Bread Pudding | Breading pudding is the best food and that’s a fact.
Tangierine Cafe | Hummus Trio: Traditional hummus, red beet and black garlic hummus, and avocado-herb hummus with Moroccan bread and crispy papadam | The Morocco flatbreads have an excellent track record. Hummus isn’t super exciting but if the bread is good I’ll be happy.
La Isla Fresca | Islamorada Beer Company Coconut Key Lime Ale | I’m not a huge fan of key lime pie but I’m intrigued by the idea of it in beer form.
Trowel & Trellis | Twinings Iced Green Tea with cranberry and lime with Hangar 1 Makrut Vodka served in a mason jar | I like green tea and I like cheap plastic cups with Epcot festival logos on them.
The Honey Bee-stro | YES THANK YOU I’LL TAKE IT ALL | Mead! Flatbread! Chicken and waffles! Everything’s a winner!!!
Pineapple Promenade | Playalinda Brewing Company Violet Lemonade Ale | I can’t remember if I tried this already but I like the idea.
Pineapple Promenade | Urban Artifact Teak Tropical American Fruit Tart | By tart do they mean sour? I hope so.
Jardin de Fiestas | Quesadilla de Flor de Calabaza: House-made masa tortillas with squash blossoms, bacon, onion, zucchini, and cheese | This sounds so unusual by comparison to the usual offerings!
Jardin de Fiestas | Mala Hierba Margarita: Centinela Tequila Reposado, elderflower-chamomile tea, Abasolo Corn Whiskey, and UNA Flower-infused Vodka with a chile salt rim | But what makes it bad, I ask? Once again in it for the florals.
Primavera Kitchen | Italian Margarita with limoncello and tequila | I like limoncello; I like tequila. Perhaps I will like this.
Hmmm. That’s a lot for one day. Did I mention we also have a San Angel Inn restaurant reservation? Quite a lot for one day. At least this year I’ll have Pat around to help me split things, and it sounds like the food booths MIGHT stay open during extended hours? Maybe. We shall see. And we shall eat. I can’t wait!

Oh yes, all of this! My dilemma is that I finally got a Space 220 reservation, albeit a weird time, 3:20 pm. How do I balance all of these great eats and Space 220? The chicken and waffles and grilled street corn are on my list, and the citrus baked brie. I am going to try one of those festival wristband gift cards with a limit!
The wristband cards are great! A friend of mine and I got one to split one year and it was super convenient. Careful, though; the wristband broke for us, but thankfully we saw it before we walked away!
