Hello and welcome to my 2026 Princess Half Marathon Weekend coverage! Today we’ll be discussing our pre-half meal at Terralina Crafted Italian in Disney Springs. Read all the posts in this report here. Onward!
I will be the first to tell you that runDisney can be very expensive depending on the choices you make. See my endless yapping about value and race money diaries for further proof of that.
Which is why, depending on your budget, you may want to add a reservation at Terralina Crafted Italian to your next runDisney race weekend itinerary. No, I won’t bury the lede! Here’s why:
TERRALINA CRAFTED ITALIAN GIVES RUNNERS 20% OFF THEIR BILL
Many Disney Springs establishments offer discounts during race weekends if you know to ask. During Princess Half Marathon Weekend, Terralina was offering a whopping 20% off the bill to runners. Nice! And while there’s certainly no guarantee this discount will be available at every weekend, in my experience most places who choose to participate stay pretty consistent.
You can find all the discount offers on the race weekend website, which runDisney generally releases a week or so in advance. To snag a percentage off deal during race weekend (generally defined as expo day one through the last race day), you’ll just need to show your race bib or medal to prove you’re actually running/ran.
Incidentally, Terralina also makes breaking up the bill super easy. Instead of settling up directly with your server, there’s a QR code on the table you can scan to pay your bill online. You can pay the whole bill, the remainder of the bill, or select just the items you want to pay for while your tablemates do the same. Great for groups of runner friends who like their resort rooms shared and their restaurant checks separate.
WHAT’S TERRALINA CRAFTED ITALIAN, ANYWAY?
Okay, circling back to how we usually begin: with an explanation of what I’m talking about in the first place. Novel!
In this case, we’re discussing a restaurant in Disney Springs called Terralina Crafted Italian, an Italian(!) restaurant on the waterfront in the area called The Landing. The menu is about what you’d expect, full of pizza and pasta and other traditional Italian favorites. In other words, exactly what a lot of runners are looking for in their pre-race dinner.
Terralina is not a Disney-owned restaurant. As such, I recommend checking out their official website menu instead of what’s on the Walt Disney World website.
WHAT’S IT LIKE IN THERE?
Although it isn’t one, the ambience at Terralina Crafted Italian is very Family Chain Restaurant. It’s large and and homey and casual and a teensy bit generic, in that stone-and-wood, clean-yet-rustic kinda way. That’s not inherently a bad thing, but if you’re looking for a unique experience or intimate setting, Terralina ain’t it.
On the other hand, the tables are NOT right on top of each other, and the restaurant space is partitioned off into rooms and enclaves keep things from getting too loud. And while I don’t think anything about Terralina is designed to appeal to kids, the atmosphere is nice for unfussy dining with friends and families.
HOW WAS THE FOOD?
Firstly: at the time of this writing, Terralina offers bread service with dinner! Yay! It’s a soft, delicious focaccia, if you like that sort of thing (which I do) served with olive oil for dipping. I don’t necessarily need bread service at every meal, but when you’re trying to carb load, it’s certainly a bonus.

To start, Erika ordered a plate of the crispy calamari, which she was kind enough to share with the table. I snuck one piece and it tasted like calamari to me. Nothing to write home about, but perfect if you’re looking for some standard issue calamari. It comes with a lemon aioli, which likewise was decently tasty if unremarkable.
We didn’t get any alcoholic beverages, but I must say, our server was ON POINT with the drink refills. I ordered a club soda with lime and found myself with another glass before the first was even gone. I’m not sure if we just got the best server at Terralina, but I’d like to think it’s part of their training. Assuming so, another point for Terralina. Hydration is key!
BUT WHAT ABOUT THE PASTA?
For my entree, I elected to live life on the edge and order something different from my usual spaghetti-and-meatballs standard. I’m a big fan of squash in all its forms, so I selected the butternut squash ravioli: parmesan, amaretti, brown butter, sage, and aged balsamic.
I could be in the minority here, but I found this dish a little too buttery. There was a pool of butter at the bottom of my plate and everything, which is maybe not ideal as a night-before-the-race option. Luckily, it turned out fine. 😅 I think the key is that ravioli servings tend to be smaller than the mountains of spaghetti you’ll often get.
As a post-race treat, you could do worse! The butternut squash flavor was light and pleasant. The pasta itself was standard but fine. If you’d like to hedge your bets, however, I’d stick with something tomato-based. I might ask for it without the amaretti on top as I didn’t totally love the added sweetness, but I understand it’s a popular garnish.
SO SHOULD YOU EAT YOUR PRE-RACE MEAL AT TERRALINA CRAFTED ITALIAN?
Divorced from context, I would say Terralina Crafted Italian is fine. Neither the food nor the ambience were extraordinary. However, between the discount, the bonus bread, and our great server, I’d say it’s a solid choice for runDisney racers. Plus it’s a large restaurant, which makes reservations comparatively easy to nab even at the last minute.
In short, I’d say Terralina Crafted Italian offers food in keeping with its design: at most slightly above average, but comfortingly familiar therefore. I’m not absolutely dying to go back – but at 20% off, I think it deserves a spot in the pre-runDisney race rotation. You know, when The Cake Bake Shop is fully booked. 😉
