Hello and welcome to my 2026 Princess Half Marathon Weekend coverage! Today we’ll be discussing our final lunch at Raglan Road at Disney Springs. Read all the posts in this report here. Onward!
Raglan Road is an undeniably great choice for a Disney Springs dinner or weekend brunch. Hearty food, strong drinks, AND entertainment? Sign me up!
But a primetime reservation can be hard to score – and we still need to eat lunch on a weekday. Without the Irish dancers and musical ensembles – without the crowded bar and bustling atmosphere – is Raglan Road still worth your time and stomach space? Let’s discuss!
WHAT’S RAGLAN ROAD?
Raglan Road is an Irish bar and restaurant in the area known as The Landing in Disney Springs; you’ll find it directly across the Gideon’s Bakehouse. The restaurant was named after a real road in Ireland, is owned by Irish people, and was largely constructed in Ireland before the individual components were shipped to Orlando. It’s quite a story if you’d like to check out their about page.
The menu is similarly traditional. All your Irish favorites are there: fish and chips, shepherd’s pie, soda bread, etc. If you’re not big into the meat and potato scene, though, there are plenty of “with a twist” and lighter options including vegan and gluten-free entrees. The menu is quite large, and combined with an extensive alcohol list, I can’t imagine there’s anyone on earth who wouldn’t find something they’re willing to eat here.
WHAT’S IT LIKE IN THERE?
Picture an Irish pub. Perfect, thank you! Now: make it nicer. Up the budget. Really go nuts on decor. Polish all the dark woods. Scale up the bar. Add another. Heck, put a few outside. Put a gift shop in if you feel like it. That’s Raglan Road, baby!
During lunch, the atmosphere is chill and just right for unwinding. At night and on the weekends, the crowds appear and so do the musicians and dancers. There’s almost constant entertainment on various stages throughout the restaurant during the dinner hour.
In either case, Raglan Road feels entirely family-friendly. Dinner is especially great here for families with all the music and dancing action, which can also cover up some high spirits. The only caveat is that Raglan Road’s bars make for popular Disney Springs nightlife. I’m sure management has a handle on behavior and won’t hesitate to evict a rowdy patron, but things may become a little more grown-up during prime drinking hours.
AND WHAT DOES BONO HAVE TO DO WITH IT?
Okay, okay, I’ll tell you about the Bono part.
Here’s another noticeable aspect of Raglan Road: every inch of the walls is covered with paintings, pictures, signs, and other elements of mountable Irish memorabilia. I can only assume the prompt the decorator receive was something like “cultural and classy Irish TGI Friday’s.”
Tucked in a vestibule in the back of the main room is a corner dedicated entirely to U2 frontman (and scion of Ireland, I guess?) Bono. Formal portraits, photographs, the works. I think I remember news clippings. Regardless, the whole of that area is dedicated solely to Bono. Ask for the Bono Booth at your reservation! (Don’t tell them I sent you.)
Naturally I regaled Becky and Erika with this information, as our table was in a separate room and they wouldn’t see the Bono shrine. Our server happened to overhear me, and told us a brand new Bono story.
THE FIRST RULE OF BONO IS DO NOT LOOK AT BONO
She informed us that one of her coworkers was in Ireland once, just in a random bar, drinking a beer – let’s say it’s a Guinness for theme purposes – and minding his business. One of the bartenders came over to him and said “I know you’re an American. I just want to let you know that Bono is about to come in the bar. DO NOT SPEAK TO BONO. Don’t look at him. It’s okay if he talks to you first.”

This is a secondhand story. I don’t know if it’s true. Assuming it IS true, I don’t know if Bono himself regularly requests that no one speak to him or if the bar just wanted to protect his privacy. All I know is now the first thing I think when I happen to run across a Bono reference in the wild is DON’T LOOK BONO IN THE EYES.
Anyway. Back to… whatever we were doing. Reviewing Raglan Road, right? I think we could all use a drink at this point.

RAGLAN ROAD HAS ALL YOUR IRISH DRINKS
Raglan Road has an extensive beer and whisky selection – I mean, would it really be an Irish pub if it didn’t? Flights are available! And of course there is a cocktail menu, much of which makes good use of the whiskys in question.
I had just enjoyed several strong whisky drinks at GEO-82 the day before, so I wasn’t necessarily in the mood for anything serious. Then again, I wanted to make the most of our last meal of the trip AND keep it thematically appropriate. The perfect solution? An iced Irish coffee!
There are in fact multiple Irish coffee cocktails to choose from, including classic, an espresso martini with whisky, and my selection: the Iced Irish. Ingredients include whisky, butterscotch, Baileys salted caramel, cold brew coffee, and whipped cream.
I was all in on the light frothiness the description suggested; my one reservation was the potential for cloying sweetness. Fear not! The Iced Irish is almost mind-bogglingly well balanced considering the ingredients. The sugary elements were gracefully held back by the bitterness of the coffee.
It wasn’t particularly strong, but that was perfect for the moment. Highly recommended if you’re in the market for an iced coffee with a gentle kick.
YOU SHOULD PROBABLY ALSO EAT SOMETHING
Naturally we needed some food to combat the alcohol. An age old battle best waged at a Disney restaurant, no?
Bread service is not free, but it was very reasonably priced (at least in the year of our Lord 2026). Three bucks won us three slices of house-made soda bread with an equally bespoke Guiness glaze and olive oil dip.
I LOOOVE soda bread, and Raglan Road’s version is delicious: springy texture, buttery flavor. My only complaint is that the slices are a bit thin; I like a chunkier slab when I cut myself some soda bread. I myself was lukewarm on the dip, which I found a bit too aggressive for the soda bread’s delicate flavor. Luckily I didn’t need any accompaniments to enjoy my slice on its own… although I wonder if they’d bring me some Irish butter if asked…?
… A SALAD? REALLY?
All the entrees have whimsical names under the equally cheeky title of “It’s All to Devour.”
Although not a traditional selection in conjunction with Irish coffee, I ordered the Chicken Salad in the Garden: grilled chicken, mixed greens, cherry tomatoes (I ordered without), shaved sprouts, grilled broccolini, toasted pumpkin seeds, grilled corn, and green goddess dressing.
This was an excellent entree salad! The chicken was quite generously portioned and well cooked, not dry. None of the vegetables were groundbreaking, but they were all fresh and bright. The green goddess dressing was pleasantly tangy; maybe a touch over poured, but I always prefer that to under. If you’re looking for a lighter meal at Raglan Road, the Chicken in the Garden is a solid choice.
Incidentally, Becky went classic with fish and chips, which she let me try. Guys, I just don’t like whitefish, and not even Raglan Road can fix that. If YOU like fish, it’s probably a wonderful choice. Chips were tasty though. Just get some of those.
SO IS RAGLAN ROAD FUN FOR LUNCH?
Okay, yes, admittedly Raglan Road for a weekday lunch is not as lively as it is at night or during the weekend. There were no dancers or musicians that we saw or heard.
Or the other hand, it was a serene and pleasant meal with good food, good drinks, and good company. We had our server’s full attention and could explore the decor unfettered. Oh, and it was an easy reservation to get, too.

I would highly recommend Raglan Road for a relaxed weekday lunch if you’re ready to make conversation (or a good book) your focal point. That plus some good Irish whisky equals priceless!

I was going to eat there during Springtime Surprise — and then discovered they no longer had the Scallop Forest. Tragic!
Oh no!! At least we haven’t lost the Dalkey Duo!
I enjoyed it – I would love to go back in an evening when there is entertainment, though! And the portions were huge.
Also, my co-worker is obsessed with Bono and there are several pictures of him by her desk. It’s hard NOT to look him in the eye at work 😉
lol, that’s amazing – she should definitely go to Raglan Road 😅
