The Fairest Trip Report Of All: Food & Wine Festival Food Reviews

It’s time for my all-time favorite type of post: the trip report! See all the posts in my 2022 Wine & Dine Half Marathon trip report. Onward! Ready to talk about all the snacks and beverages I got my paws on during this year’s Epcot Food & Wine Festival? Admittedly the 2022 festival has ended, and so you might wonder: why bother to post a review of the foods I tried at all? Well, I’ll tell you: 1. Many of these items come back from year to year, and even cross over to other Epcot food festivals, and 2....

My 2022 Epcot Food & Wine Festival To-Eat List

The next best thing to being at Walt Disney World is fantasizing about being in Walt Disney World, and with that in mind, let’s talk about the 2022 Epcot Food & Wine Festival! Every year, without fail, I carefully assemble a post that outlines what foods I plan to eat at the festival. It is always a joyous day when Disney releases the booth menus. Do you, dear reader, find my shortlist as riveting as I do? Never mind! I’m doing it anyway because it serves as a handy cheat sheet when I’m actually in Epcot on those glorious,...

The Fairest Trip Report Of All: 11/12

It’s trip report time again! Read all posts in this trip report here. Oh, the dreaded Very Last Day. It begins in the usual fashion: get up, shower, finish packing, say goodbye to our room, check our bags at bell services. Alas and alack. Then, of course, it gets more fun for a bit! Our first stop that morning was Epcot, so we took that lovely stroll over to the most magnificent Skyliner. Nothing can compare. And stopping for coffee on the way in? That’s the icing on the cake. We were just in time to enter during the extra resort...

The Fairest Trip Report Of All: 11/9

It’s trip report time again! Read all posts in this trip report here. Another 7am wakeup call, as is the New Normal. But this time I wasn’t after Individual Lightning Lanes or Genie+ slots – I wanted a place in the Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure virtual queue! Which I got, but at a time that perfectly coincided with our tequila tasting in Mexico. I resolved to check in with Guest Experience staff upon arrival at Epcot, but as it turned out it was never necessary; by park open our predicted boarding call time had moved back about two hours. Every...

Jenn’s 2021 Epcot Food & Wine Festival To-Eat List

You know what’s the worst? Reading all the amazing reviews of foods and drinks at Epcot’s Food & Wine Festival when you know you’re not going this year. You know what’s the BEST? Reading all the amazing reviews of foods and drinks at Epcot’s Food & Wine Festival when you know you’re going this year! My hotel is booked, my race registration is complete, and now it’s time to get down to the real business: defeating the huns making my short list of snacks and sips to try. I used this DFB list as a resource if you wanna...

The Fairest Trip Report Of All: 11/04

Trip report time! See all the posts in this report. I was able to wander right onto a Pop bus post-half marathon, and I rolled on back to my room and immediately hopped into a much-needed hot shower. (I don’t care what the experts say about ice baths and crud – you can pry my hot shower from my HOT DEAD HANDS.) By the time I emerged, I figured I might as well stay awake until Erika got back, so I riffled through my snack box and watched the ubiquitous Friends marathon until she appeared. She took her own shower, and then...

The Fairest Trip Report Of All: 11/03

Trip report time! See all the posts in this report. After the 10K, Erika and I headed back to the room to shower and eat some of our snack boxes. My initial plan was to head right out to Epcot as soon as we were ready, but it was chilly outside and I was kind of exhausted so we elected to take a nap instead. About 90 minutes later we dragged ourselves out of bed, dressed. and snagged a bus to Epcot. We got the bus pretty quickly – but getting to Epcot was another story. I don’t know what...

Yup, the time of Wine & Dine Half Marathon weekend is finally upon us, and I have a 10K and a half waiting for me this weekend. Plus a trip buddy and big plans! What kind of big plans? Well… I gotta try lots of food and drinks from Epcot’s Food & Wine Festival, obviously Maybe do Remy’s Hide & Squeak so I can get a Figment koozie Maybe pick up a runDisney sweatshirt or jacket if they still have...

In Which Jenn Is Prepared For The Epcot Food & Wine Festival

Remember how last year I was so distraught about missing the Epcot Food & Wine Festival I made a to-eat list even though I wouldn’t be there? Some of my saner work, I must say. Well, this year no one needs to worry about my mental state: I am, as is right and proper, going to be at the festival. I’m going to run the 10K and half, and then eat and drink delicious foodstuffs. It is written! As is traditional, I have painstakingly combed through all the pre-released menus and selected the items that stand out to me...

In Which Jenn Gets By With A Little Help From Her WDW Friends

From the moment I laid eyes on it, I knew the limited edition Epcot Food & Wine Festival ears needed to be mine. Only one problem: I’m not going to the festival this year. No problem, though! Lately Disney’s been putting 95% of parks merchandise on the Shop Disney Parks app. There isn’t much that can’t be had through the app, and the initial blog post revealing the merch promised most of it would be available. So you can imagine my chagrin when I searched for the ears and saw this:    LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAME. Of course there’s always eBay and such,...
