Hello and welcome to 2022! I’m sure it some ways it feels much like 2021 so far; that is to say, like a sequel we never asked for to a movie we did not like. Still, already 2022 has one thing going for it, and that’s the return of the WDW Marathon, my dearest love. Obviously I can’t embark...

My next Walt Disney World trip is right around the corner, which means the Wine & Dine Half Marathon is almost upon us! It’ll be my first runDisney race since I did the Goofy Challenge in January 2020, and I am READY. I don’t know how this trip is gonna look with all the changes lately, but I do...

A Star Wars outfit from me?! An avowed Trekkie?!?! Look, here’s the thing: when it comes to immersive theme, I am highly suggestible. For example, I am probably the only millennial alive today who thinks Harry Potter is, like, fine or whatever. Yes, I read all the books, and I can still take him or leave him. Yet I...

After dipping my toes into my first proper Disneybound a few months ago, I’m back with an all-new 101 Dalmatians-inspired outfit! Guys, 101 Dalmatians was my JAM when I was a little kid. It came out over two decades before I was born, but I didn’t care. Ariel and Belle were great and all, but they couldn’t compete with...

I’m decidedly NOT a team sports person, but I’m not against joining a team of running individuals, especially if they offer discounts. Did I join Sparkle Squad for the camaraderie or the discounts? Trick question! I joined it for the visor! And the blog post, of course. Anything for a blog post. WHAT IS SPARKLE SQUAD? Right, so, Sparkle...

Splash Mountain has been in the (Disney) news this week, since more was revealed about the planned Princess & The Frog retheme. I’ve gone on record as being in favor and I stand by what I said… but I also stand by what I said, which I that I’ll miss Splash Mountain when it’s gone. I’ve posted about old...

The Wilmington Marathon isn’t, say, runDisney or Marine Corps Marathon big, with fancy sponsors and thousands of participants. But it’s gotten big enough to have its expo in a convention hall, which is where I found myself for bib pickup the day before the race. There was all the usual stuff – official race merch, running store and athletic store...

The full trip report is over, but the details still need filling in. Read on for more May 2021 WDW fun! WE’ HAVE A 2319!!!!!!! Twelve of them, actually. Okay, so, one of the items I picked up at Cast Connection was a sort of sock advent calendar, which offered twelve pairs of socks behind little cardboard doors. I figured it’d...

The full trip report is over, but the details still need filling in. Read on for more May 2021 WDW fun! Before our trip even started, I was being a total weirdo asked Becky if she would be interested in doing some light coordination of our daily park wardrobes. Rather than kicking my Disney Dandy butt to the curb, she sweetly agreed...
